Allergic rhinitis is Sneezing, watering of the nose, itching of the nasal passages and throat, burning and tearful eyes make up the common allergic reaction of hay fever.
Common in people with atopic allergies. The allergen may be difficult to identify.
Allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction to airborne particles that primarily affects the nose and eyes. The prevalence of allergic rhinitis may vary within and among countries.Allergens responsible for allergic rhinitis usually enter the body by inhalation.
Infants and young children are especially susceptible to allergic sensitivity to foods and indoor allergens.There is strong genetic predisposition to allergic rhinitis. The increase in IgE causes certain cells throughout the body, especially those of the respiratory system, to release chemicals such as histamine. You may also develop complications such as sinusitis and ear infections. Rhinitis can be a problem all year or only some of the year. One of the chemicals, histamine, opens the blood vessels and causes skin redness and swollen membranes. When this occurs in the nose, sneezing and congestion are the result. It can be a problem when inside or when outside.Decongestant tablets and sprays will help relieve a stuffy, blocked nose with catarrh, but should be used for short periods only.

- Itching on the roof of the mouth.
- Dry cough
- Excessive exposure to allergens, such as outdoor molds, can be prevented by avoiding lawn mowing and other activities likely to stir these up.
- Cromolyn sodium inhibits the body's release of histamine after exposure to an antigen, which can lessen or stop the allergic response.
- Anti-inflammatory medicines control inflammation in the body. This inflammation causes redness and swelling.
- Choose air conditioning over window fans.
- Avoid working with compost, raking leaves, or walking through uncut fields.
